Nope, he got called a right-wing conspiracy nut because he said RIGHT-WING CONSPIRACY NUT THINGS.

He was just reading the teleprompter script that management wrote for him.
Reminds me of Ron Burgandy...

LOL! Conservatives...smh

Tucker is on the air: "He is just telling the truth as he sees it, truth you don't want to hear."

Tucker is off the air: "He was just mouthing other people's words."

In either case, he said the words, either believing them or knowingly LYING to the public.

News flash(pun intended): they all lie to appeal to their audience

Chris Cuomo was lying on air and covering up for his scumbag brother.

Again, conservative logic:

When a show is on the air, it is the light of truth, the ONLY place that says it how it is and we stupid libs are just fooling ourselves if we don't listen to what they say.

When a show is off the air: They all lie, why would you believe them?

"In a roughly two-minute video posted to his Twitter feed, Carlson references how he's stepped "outside the noise for a few days." He then speaks for a while about "how unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are. They're completely irrelevant. They mean nothing." He continues in that vein for a while.

If there is any allusion to his recent firing, it comes in a veiled fashion around the 1:38 mark. "When honest people say what's true, calmly and without embarrassment, they become powerful,"  he says. "At the same time, the liars who've been trying to silence them shrink. They become weaker. That's the iron law of the universe."

Pretty sure Tucker had almost complete editorial control over his show. If you doubt this, watch the video he posted on Twitter last night. It's the same disingenuous, self-serving BS he spewed nightly on Fox.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/sean-hannitys-ratings-plunge-after-tucker-carlsons-fox-news-exit_5229654.html

Tucker Carlson's exit from Fox News appears to be impacting more than just the timeslot that he hosted for years on the network.

Carlson's finale a week ago drew 2.65 million viewers, according to Nielsen. The data shows that Brian Kilmeade's substitute hosting gig for "Fox News Tonight" saw ratings of 2.59 million on Monday, 1.7 million on Tuesday, and 1.33 million on Wednesday, respectively. Last Wednesday, Carlson drew about 3 million viewers, Nielsen figures show.

But the 9 p.m. Fox News program hosted by Sean Hannity drew about 2.5 million on Monday, 2 million on Tuesday, and 1.7 million on Wednesday night, according to Nielsen. In comparison, Hannity drew about 2.6 million viewers the Wednesday a week before, the ratings show.

Laura Ingraham's "The Ingraham Angle" drew 2.156 million on Wednesday, April 19. But this past Wednesday, two days after Carlson was confirmed gone, her show drew 1.55 million viewers.

Jesse Watters' show also saw a decline. For Wednesday, it saw an audience of 1.558 million, but a week prior, it generated 2.1 million.

Also, as to be expected, the competition of Newsmax is of course making accusations of liberalism to explain Tucker's firing so they can steal viewers:

This week, Newsmax has promoted claims that Fox News is shifting to become more liberal and capitulated to left-wing interests by allowing Carlson to depart. Details about why Carlson left the network are not clear.

"Fox has been moving to embrace more of an establishment position," Newsmax's chief executive, Christopher Ruddy, told the New York Times on Thursday.  "They want to renounce some of the Trumpisms and populist MAGA stuff that Tucker was echoing," he said, adding that he wants to "embrace all sides of the Republican Party."

All sides, as long as they are extremist hate-filled liberal hating that is...

Their ratings are still better than any other news network.
