Quote from: HighStepper on Apr 02, 2022, 09:33 PMCould keep it simple. If a lady requests to have her picture remove, just remove it.

Didn't I already say that?  They can't ask if they are not registered as member!

By the time the lady gets around to having it removed,  it's a moot point cuz everyone already saw it!

How about just be respectful and DON'T  any unauthorized picture(s) UNLESS they are already made public.

Lets not put the cart in front of the horse!  Wait and see if this becomes an issue! If the lady is not a member here and doesn't plan to be, then she may never know! Now if she is concerned about this all she has to do is join let the saloon know not allow her pics posted, we will add her to the list of do not post my personal pics.

I like at least having the Classifieds section.

I would too. two ads don't make a classified section. Members here think providers don't want to post ads here that we are not friendly to providers by having reviews.  They forget providers were not posting ads before reviews were ever added. Problem is I don't think many of these guys here have told providers to come check us out and see what we have to offer.... so until our membership increases we will hold back on the ads... they have not been deleted just not viewable.

PD is ripe to have providers looking for additional advertising avenues.  I've noticed in the past couple months the PD profiles going "unverified", of providers I've known going back to NS and even RB (though I hadn't met them yet then).  One of the local AMPs is a staple on Lovings since PD doesn't allow them.

Quote from: Serena on Apr 02, 2022, 10:40 PMFrom my POV, I think a hobbyist should ask the lady first if it's ok he post her picture IF the picture was taken in confidence between them two or something she personally sent him. As a lady, I would appreciate the respect of being asked with a scenario like that BUT if it's a pic I already posted on Social Media or in an ad somewhere,  then I don't care if those or my Ad link is being shared because it's already public! We just can't go around disrespecting the ladies.  If word got out the gents were allowed to post personal pics, they will be pissed and no one will ever come here and We all know ladies who don't want their face shown, EVER! SMH this whole topic has ME mad right now. We are human and have feelings and gents should be respectful to our wishes.  Luckily,  the gents I know will ALWAYS ask!
This.
Exactly this.
I would NEVER allow a photo, that isn't on my ads, shared.

For me personally:
I will NEVER want a photo not on a proper public advertisement site shared. That only includes PD, Tryst.link  and Humaniplex .com, twitter, (also switter if they still have something post shutdown) because those are the only places I advertised myself.
Other venues steal ad photos. Again, public ad photos only.

This does not include my Instagram photos because that is set to private.  I also do not send any private content to anyone anymore,  therefore of you have something old of mine, I do NOT give permission.
I do NOT give permission to share my face , it has never been used to advertise myself.

I only am okay with my ad pics.

Even if the lady is not a member, it's still disrespecting her right to privacy if what's posted IS NOT on her public ads! You never know who may know her and tell her!

We do not want to be disrespecting any ones privacy,  right??? Isn't this in the Saloon Rules? The Golden Rule remember you said that?!?!?

Quote from: HighStepper on Apr 02, 2022, 05:02 PMJust a cautionary note on hobbyist posting pictures of providers.

If these pictures are posted in areas that all Saloon members can see, then It is important for the hobbyist to have gotten the permission of the provider to do so. Reposting pictures from a provider's current ad or pictures she has posted herself in various places on this site would carry an implied permission.

Many of us have a lot of personal pictures we have taken of providers. Even pictures taken from ads that are not current should not be publically posted without permission. The ladies are often very particular about how they look in pictures. They want to maintain control.

I realize that once a picture is on the internet, it is there forever. However, as a provider friendly website, we don't need to be reposting pictures she doesn't like.

We have now heard from two providers that were long active members on P2P. It would seem my inital thoughts on this are more in alignmet than my subsequent comments.

Hobbyist need to use good judgement, those that abuse the gallery will become MIA! I am not about to start placing restrictions on the site except those that are violation of publishing laws.... child porn etc... Some won't like this some won't like that, Where does it end if it gets started? Want rules and restrictions then by all means go to PD where a hobbyist can't be a hobbyist anymore, they cut off their nuts there... People want freedom of speech but there are always those that want to tell them what not to say or do...

It's not about restrictions.  It's about respecting the privacy of our lady's private pictures.

Good thing I'm pretty confident most of the gents here are respectful and would always ask us before posting something private! I expect they will continue to do the right thing

I've seen policy that when a hobbyist posted a picture of a provider, they noted that they had the provider's permission.
If they did not make that statement in the post, a moderator would delete the picture.
Pictures from current ads would have implied permission. Hobbist simply notes taken from her ad.

I think that is an approach we all could live with.
