The gag order was put into place on October 3 after the former president was ordered to remove a Truth Social post, in which he attacks a legal clerk. A legal clerk performs administrative tasks and have no authority over his case. He refused to take down the offending post.

A state judge fined Donald Trump $5,000 Friday after finding that the former president's campaign website continued to display a social media post attacking the judge's law clerk in violation of a gag order imposed by the judge earlier this month.

Justice Arthur Engoron also indicated that he would consider jailing Trump for future violations of the gag order.

In stern terms, he warned Trump against further violating the order. "Make no mistake: future violations, whether intentional or unintentional, will subject the violator to far more severe sanctions, which may include, but are not limited to, steeper financial penalties, holding Donald Trump in contempt of course, and possibly imprisoning him," Engoron wrote.

The judge's Oct. 3 gag order barred Trump from making comments about court staff after the former president's Truth Social post, which included a picture of Engoron's clerk, Allison Greenfield. The post claimed that Greenfield was "running this case" and was "Schumer's girlfriend." The post was also sent to Trump's campaign email list.

Prior to issuing the gag order, the judge had ordered Trump "off the record" to remove the social media post, which he did. On Thursday night, however, the judge wrote, he learned that the post had remained on the website DonaldJTrump.com. It was removed Thursday night, the judge wrote, "but only in response to an email from this Court."

Whether the gag order is legal is the question that Trump has put before the D.C. Court of Appeals. And the gag order has been stayed pending their ruling.

Donald Trump fined 2nd time. Now $10,000  fine for violating civil fraud case gag order. Justice Arthur Engoron last week fined Trump $5,000 after finding that he had not taken down a post disparaging the judge's law clerk. Judge ordered Trump to take the stand for about a minute. Trump tried to claim that he was talking about Michael Cohen when he was actually talking about the law clerk AGAIN. Judge did not buy Trump's bullshit and fined him.

Trump stormed out of the courtroom in a huff like a little child having a temper tantrum.  His Secret Service agents had to chase after him.  Trump's actions even surprised his lawyers.

A Judge can issue a gag order to restrict speech and is lawful. Jurors are under orders not discuss the case with anyone during the trial.  You think the constitution will protect them if they violate the courts order? Not a chance.

Gag order or not The Constitution prevails.
There is a reason they are fining TRUMP, They have all these legal issues trying to hit TRUMP financially and time consumption to disrupt the election. They will find they fail as they have been for many years.
Why would one think they are not Jailing TRUMP. They know they can not.
