Evidence introduced and validated police waived protesters in... Imagine that.

Can wee say media manipulation once again since main stream has not reported this so far.. At least not as heavy as this accusation of a insurrection..

There is a perception that Capitol Police Officers waved in the Trump protesters. I wondered about that. Were there officers that were aiding and abetting the insurrection? From what I found with a quick search it would seem the answer is no.

Looking at one of the Videos Bande posted, you can see where one of the officers got help from some of the crowd members to rescue some police officers. The crowd let the police leave as that would allow them to walk into the building. Police were hopelessly outnumbered.

Marcus DiPaolo was the person who shot the video, that was used on social media to say the police waved the Trump protesters in:

"They definitely didn't just open the barriers, the pro-Trump rioters made a fist like they were going to punch the cops, which is why I started recording, then they backed off the barricades. Completely outnumbered, there wouldn't have been any point in fighting." Link

A federal judge acquitted a January 6 defendant on all charges Judge McFadden said it was reasonable for Matthew Martin to believe that outnumbered police officers allowed him and others to enter the Capitol through the Rotunda doors on Jan. 6, 2021. The judge also said Martin's actions were "about as minimal and non-serious" as anyone who was at the Capitol that day.

Martin is the third Capitol riot defendant whose case has been resolved by a trial. He is the first of the three to be acquitted of all charges that he faced. The first two Capitol riot trials ended with convictions, although McFadden acquitted one of those defendants of a disorderly conduct charge after a bench trial last month. Link

I don't know where the number 16 acquitted came from. With over 700 people arrested for storming the Capitol building. There could be more acquittals. However, it remains that there were organized rioters that were part of a conspiracy.
