Voter guides are going out.
Everyone needs to read thoroughly and understand what one is voting for.
The State is known to have misleading titles and descriptions for those they do not want to pass.

Research however you feel comfortable.

Carl DeMaio politician founded Reform California, a conservative political action committee.

Personally I rather do my on research on candidates and propositions rather than relying on partisan voter guides.

Perhaps you meant to say that people interested in the passage (or failure) of ballot measures often criticize (and file lawsuits over) the official titles and summaries. But complaints don't automatically make that information "misleading."

Still, people have to evaluate the measures for themselves. I would not trust anything from the blatantly partisan Carl DeMaio.

Voter information is available from sources that claim to be nonpartisan. One that I've found to be very good is Ballotpedia.org.

Actually it is misleading on how they do the titles.

Sometimes they are biased for a nefarious purpose.

Yes sometimes but I read all I can.  Things are said so I will look it up to see if true or not or read opinions of others.  When I vote I vote based on what I have learned and believe. I don't vote for in favor of someone because I like them.  I vote for them hoping they will do the best job.

Same here.  Do my own research even being an independent.
Try to have a good time.
