I watched and listened to the VP candidates I thought this was a really good debate gives me lots to think about.

It was almost like a debate should be.
Fewer personal attacks.
Some acknowledgement about points they agree on.
Too bad it does not matter much.

I enjoyed listening to both of them but I give the edge to Vance, he was calm and knowledgeable.
Most political observers and commentators also think Vance won.

I wish they were our choices for Pres instead of the narcissistic crook or the cackling idiot.

What Vance kept saying it was Harris who is responsible for the last 3.5 years.  Harris doesn't set policy or make executive orders Biden does that.  When Biden stepped down and Harris was chosen to replace him all the attacks Trump and Vance moved to Harris as though she was the president.  Sure the vp probably does support president's decisions but they certainly don't make them.

I agree with Walz that Trump told is republican comrades to vote down the border bill so the border would still be a major issue for the election.

I think you need to ask yourself about Vance's motives for being on the ticket with "the narcissistic crook."

As I said in other posts the leader/boss/CEO almost always gets the credit or not for when things go right or wrong even if they were not that directly involved.  Are things ever totally in their control or their responsibly? No, only simpletons would thinks that.  Trump was not totally responsible for peace.  Biden was not totally responsible for inflation.  Vance attacked Harris for "her policies" every chance he got but seems to have forget Biden has been President and Biden isn't running now so who cares?  He acted like Harris was the President but she wasn't.

No matter when asked by the Moderators and by Walz, he just couldn't answer...

Maybe. But I don't think Vance is running to be VP. Technology billionaires Peter Thiel and Elon Musk want him to succeed Trump as president so they can indirectly control the government. They probably think they're entitled to it.

I would have ask Vance since he believes the Vice President has the power to implement all of the polices rather than the President, will he Vance have the power to implement all the polices rather than Trump?

JD Vance's job was to defend Trump, promote Trump's past accomplishments with lies, and attack Harris.

Based on the answers/positions Vance set forth, it appears the Trump campaign is trying to pivot from the far right toward the center. For example, Vance misrepresented past abortion and healthcare positions.

He wants to be President one day or he's tired of Ohio.

Why did Walz agree to be the cackling idiot's running mate?

Walz Vance Debate:  I liked how they were desent with each other.  There is some hope.  Vance said the word "Common Sense" for Trump.  Trump has NO common sense and he would not admit Trump lost the election.

As a female, Vance hates women.  Men don't get abortions so how would they know the choice one has to make.  And men have no right telling women what to do with their bodies.  Women are dying because of Trump, Vance, Musk (Republican Party).  Elon Musk has 12 kids and he is never there so busy with his 6 business, that I see failing.  Elon is not that smart.  Look at what I can not manage.  Figures.

This is one of the desperate MAGA talking points. Caught short by the disorienting speed with which Vice President Kamala Harris has become the presumptive 2024 Democratic nominee for president, Trump has struggled to come up with attack lines against her.

Kamala Harris and the Threat of a Woman's Laugh (The Atlantic article) Criticism of emotional expression has long been a weapon of choice for those wanting to cut down women in political power.

Harris does indeed laugh; on TikTok, videos of her cackling joyfully during panel discussions and interviews have been making the rounds, with most commenters failing to find them anything but endearing. "Her laugh is wholesome," one woman wrote below a Daily Mail montage. "It's honest and human," another added, and a third said, "I love her laugh. It's genuinely hers." Link

Harris says she will cut taxes for the middle class. The president can not cut taxes only congress can. I believe Harris is only saying this to appear more centered and knows if Dems are in control of congress no taxes will be reduced.  So when she says she will cut tax rate for middle class it sounds good to voters. I have not heard any Dems candidates say they will vote to cut tax on middle class.
