...I figured since we just passed the anniversary of the event those who are Trump fans have called "tourists"so that people will remember why these people were in jail:

Today Trump said that Ashli Babbitt, who shot and killed Jan 6th while breaking into the Capital, was really trying to prevent people from getting into the building. ROTFLMAO

Give it a rest.  If you believe in Democracy then you need to respect the voters who overwhelming voted Trump back into office.  When Trump is sworn in I may not like his decisions but I will support him because he will be my president.  Democrats wasted billions of taxpayers money fighting Trump then brought in Biden who can't find his way off stage.

This isn't about the election. It's about the people he said he was going to pardon, the ones the courts have said were guilty of crimes.

So?  It's Trumps choice to issue pardons. Many presidents in the past pardoned known convicted criminals. Top of my thought... Clinton pardoned a criminal.

Those suffering from TDS can't let it go.
Biden pardoned over 1500 criminals including a scumbag who murdered a teenage girl but they're ok with that.

Trump isnt President yet and some of you are making wild assumptions.
Are we having fun yet?

This sentiment may have been noble and patriotic in the past and may be again in the future. But it's outdated in the Trump era when only one side respects the election's outcome regardless of who wins.

We all know that If Trump had lost, he'd be trying to convince people the outcome was rigged, but since he won, the Democrats can do nothing but uphold the traditions that he cast aside like one of his ex-wives.

Wild assumptions huh? https://www.thewrap.com/trump-jan-6-pardons-gulf-of-mexico-renaming-press-conference/

"Donald Trump once again Tuesday promised "major pardons" for those involved in attacking the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, including for people charged with violent offenses.

During a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, Trump was asked specifically about whether he plans to follow through on the promise he's been making throughout his entire second term's campaign, to which he promptly responded that he and his team are "looking into it."

The president-elect first said that "24 or 28" people connected to the FBI have since been exposed for having a hand in planning the riots, parroting a conspiracy theory that his own pick to lead the FBI, Kash Patel, floated back in 2022. He then claimed that Hezbollah was involved, but offered no evidence.

"So we'll be looking at the whole thing, but I'll be making major pardons," he said."

Yup, WILD assumptions...

So what?  Trump himself escaped prosecution for what he did on J6th so it's probably right not hold accountable those who attacked the Capitol.  I really don't care about any of that, it's past.  More concerning is what is to come.  Will Trump be good for America or the biggest American mistake in history.  Will Trump destroy the Mexican Cartels and stop the flow of drugs into the US?  Biden sure didn't.

First of all, the voters did NOT overwhelmingly elect Trump.  Trump's margin was smaller than any winner since Bush in 2000.

Secondly, pushing back on lies, speaking out of concern about harebrained ideas, is what the MAGA crowd wants to pejoratively call TDS Trump Derangement Syndrome

For those of us that saw the January 6th attack on the Capitol, it is not about "giving it a rest" or an irrational dislike of Trump. It's about not sitting quietly in the corner, while feckless politicians try to rewrite history.

Trump won the electoral vote and the popular vote so deal with it.

Americans want normal and sane, they want to be able to raise their family where they feel safe, they want a thriving economy, they want our borders secure...that's why the Republicans swept last month.

Are we having fun yet?

I was correcting the "overwhelming elected" as though that justifies anything that Trump does. I previously expressed my position.

According to Trump today in his press conference he won overwhelmingly.  He got the most votes of any republican president and he won all the swing states. Trump said it was a landslide victory.  Besides what the fuck difference if he only won by a few votes he was elected by the majority was my point.

All you guys want to do is speculate and cause arguments over petty shit.

Because you spent the last 4 years dealing with it?

Oh wait. Republicans did not. They spent the last 4 years complaining constantly and had the right to do so

Why do Democrats lose that right?
