I'm not a Columbian. Therefore I don't care.

Gee, anyone think that Trump, like the man-baby he is decided a bit of revenge was needed after the humiliation he suffered here?

"Meanwhile, relations between Santos and Trump were getting worse because the US President refused to support the Colombian peace process and continued pushing for military intervention in Venezuela.

In September, the US Congress approved a $391.3 million against the will of the president who wanted to cut aid. Days later, Trump threatened to decertify Colombia for refusing to cooperate with his "counternarcotics" efforts.

By then, the US opioid crisis was killing 70,000 Americans a year, according to the Center for Disease Control.

Colombian Foreign Minister Maria Angela Holguin expressed her despair about Trump's ignorance about counternarcotics and persistent efforts to resume a counternarcotics strategy that never worked."

Looking more and more Gilded doesn't it?

And yet Columbia caved.....

Using military C-17 and C-130 aircraft to deport people to their county of origin, is a very expensive way of doing it. Is there any reason why no one wants to talk about this excessive waste of tax payer money.
Too much sex is still not enough.

A few are talking about it. But our major media outlets fail us as usual.

But why did Trump start a fight with an important trade partner? There was no reason for it.

Tons of Colombian migrants were deported to Colombia under Biden, without theater. In fact, all of the migrants on these military flights were arrested and detained under Biden.

Trump needs to keep the irrational hate flowing among his supporters, and you guys fall for it every time.

Politically, China is counting on shit like this from Trump. They can and will take advantage of it, because they know that Trump doesn't actually give a shit about making America great.

The planes are flown just about everyday and flight crews have to have flight training hours every month so no it's no more expensive than when the flights are for training and maintaining flight proficiently.

How much money is saved in court and law enforcement  costs by not having these criminals here?

It's Trump way to demonstrate a show of force.  It makes a real statement on his immigration pledge.  Illegal border crossings are down 94% since Biden was in office.

94%, pulled that out of your ass

Actually no it was just on the news this morning. But you're the one that thought the border was closed for the last year.

Probably unknown to many the US owns 2 territories south of Jamaica that Columbia administers.
However they are uninhabited coral reefs so probably would not be worth fighting over.

Meanwhile Venezuela wants to "liberate" / annex Puerto Rico.

What's this statistic about the decline in illegal crossings since Biden was in office? I know you said it was "on the news," but do you even know what it means?

Are we talking about since Biden left office, or since some high-water mark in illegal crossings at some point earlier in his term? Or something else?

Danno

the number used of 20-30 million contacts at the border, most are the same person trying to come in on different days and turned away.
the people they are flying back were arrested under Bidens watch.
