Posted by Bats: Today the Trump administration announced they are ending the collective bargaining agreement with TSA employees.

This is another step toward implementing Project 2025, which Trump claimed during the campaign he knew nothing about.

Project 2025's document explicitly calls for privatizing the TSA. By itself, that's not necessarily a terrible thing, although it's another shitty thing for federal workers.

More importantly, it's a reminder not to be surprised when they try to privatize Social Security and Medicare, which Trump has frequently said he wouldn't touch.

Biden signed into law Jan 5 to abolish the windfall exemption province that reduced my ssi payment 480 dollars per month.  Social security said it would take a year to implement.  Trump told social security admin he wanted it taken care of immediately.  Today I recieve $6100 back payment and my monthly ssi will increase 480 per month rest of my life.  So tell me Trump wants to cut ssi some more!

Trump just got his hand spanked for trying to cut a program without paying out funds that were already allocated. This action just clears the board so that when all of those allocated funds are taken care of, he is free to cut it as he wants.

Hey, I'd be happy with that, too!

I'm just saying don't be surprised when Republicans try to privatize the system.

Of the 34 agencies the tracker is monitoring, the tracker found the Trump administration has implemented Project 2025 objectives across 17 agencies. Daily Dot Tracker

37 ways Project 2025 has shown up in Trump's executive orders. Many of the conservative blueprint's ideas from the Heritage Foundation have made their way into Trump's early executive orders, signaling the sweeping impact Project 2025 has already had on the Trump administration's policy making. Bush wanted to privatize too.  That will never happen. Republicans claim people can invest their own money... well people are stupid they need to have social security the way it is now.

Those who wrote project 25 worked for Trump during his first term and know what he wanted.  So it's no surprise that Trump is doing what is written in project 25.  He may well have had nothing to do with it but  I sure he knew all about
it.  What difference does it make.  You oppose anything Trump does! Trump won't touch ssi or medicare that's a fact.  Democrats like to cause fear.

They're not going to advertise it. They're going to continue to talk about all the fraud and waste in Social Security until stupid Republican voters start to believe that shit. It'll be just like his lies about the 2020 election.

Anyway, I don't oppose everything Trump does. For example, I agree with his suggestion that we should phase out the penny.

I don't care unless it directly affects me and so far it hasn't.

All the shit coming out of Trump about all these new manufacturing plants to make chips are because of his tariffs. no they aren't. It was Biden's Chip Act of 2022. Something that Trump said HE will kill 5 days ago.
