Tipping... I rarely tip. If we go over time certainly! Gifts? Shopping trips! I love putting a smile on a FAV's face.
I have had the experience of taking a gal shopping and her charging for "her" time. Never saw her again. She was focused on "her time", in cash. And that was not a one-time experience, I have had the same experience with several providers. Which I also never saw again.

IMO everyone should do what they want or what works for them. 
I hate rules made by others for me. 
I like doing things my way, being creative, and not just following everyone else, just because they do it. 
That said I do most [but not all] of the guidelines in the original post and have been told many times I'm a favorite client.
I used to give gifts.  I rarely do now unless I know someone well and the gift is special.  Flowers?  What if she is allergic? Wine? What if she does not drink?  Chocolate?  What if she hates it or is trying to limit eating sweets?  Also things like lingerie, flowers, wine, chocolate, vibrators, gift cards, and so on are boring as fuck and have been given a million times as gifts.
I have never tipped right after a session but I have given out what I call bonuses [which are cash] for various reasons if I feel it's deserved or if I am in a mood to.  So I guess that's a tip but it's not given in the traditional way or at any set amount or percentage and only given if someone is a regular not after a first date.

All during the pandemic, I had a regular make sure I had delicious food etc.  He gave me so much, I shared it with my neighbors down the hall.  I saw his intention and a good one.  There is so much abundance out there.  Thank you Mr. B for thinking of me.  Such kindness.
