What you believe again  is irrelevant. My reply and posts were not in response to anything you said or meant for you. The person quoted was the one who said those things, my responses were meant for him.
BLM is off topic, please stop trying to troll and derail the topic.

wtf.  It's Independence Day.  Arguably the most important day ANY country could celebrate.
Now as for some other "holidays", I think a few of those could be eliminated, but hey I guess it's a day off work.

There is no equivalency here.
Research on BLM protests. "Here is what we have found based on the 7,305 events we've collected. The overall levels of violence and property destruction were low, and most of the violence that did take place was, in fact, directed against the BLM protesters." Link

"Also, BLM protests were not incited to riot by the former President of the United States in an effort to bring about a coup."

Nope sure weren't! BLM riots were incited by a convicted felon and drug addict George Floyd, a black man, that died during arrest at the hands of Derek Chauvin a rogue cop, a white man, that exceeded his authority during the arrest. Had they both been the same race there would have been no rioting and BLM could have cared less about it...

George Floyd's death REIGNITED the Black Lives Matter movement around the country. They were an existing organization before Floyd's death.

Yes, but they did not erupt into protest and then rioting that happened across the nation.

I don't think millions of dollars on just 3 cities alone in damages along with an estimated $2 billion in damages is considered low. Unless it's free money you're giving out

Yeah!  Save all that money from riots for sports fans!  https://www.therichest.com/sports/10-of-the-most-costly-sports-riots-in-history/

After all, your team losing is a much better reason to riot and destroy your neighborhoods and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars of damage than people getting killed right? We need to do something about those sports fans who are un-American obviously because they are destroying their own stuff!

As previously stated I believe we can all agree that rioters destroying property should be arrested, prosecuted, and thrown in jail.

The Harvard Radcliff study was reported in October 2020. The Seattle property damage was reported November 2020. In all of these confrontations, the people that suffer the most are the small business owners, especially those trying to recover from the Covid lockdowns.

However, we need to continue to separate those that protest from those that riot.

What do you think might be the causes for civil unrest? What do you think might be solutions for civil unrest?

You're the one condoning riots not me. I don't believe in the lesser of two evils bullshit justification. I condemn them not condone them.

I wholeheartedly agree. The issue we have is that we have blind, fanatical zealots who have started treating their political party like their favorite sports team that can do no wrong. No one ever bothers to try to understand why 40% of the people eligible voters never vote. Instead, they blame it on some bullshit.  Many are disenfranchised but no one gives a shit because most are poor or minorities, two different groups despite what President Biden thinks.
