"The defendant made a deliberate decision not to comply," Assistant U.S. Attorney Molly Gaston told jurors. "That, ladies and gentleman, is contempt. We are here because the defendant has contempt for the Congress.

"He has contempt for our system of government and does not believe he has to abide by the rules. Find him guilty."

Bannon faces two counts of contempt, one for his refusal to appear for the deposition and another involving his failure to produce documents.

Each count could carry a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of one year in jail, as well as a maximum fine of $100,000.

The attack on candidate Lee Zeldin with the attacker being released proves bail reform is broken in New York. That is the issue, not the lying insinuation by Carlson that it was because he was a Republican. Carlson is the lowest form of scum, fanning the flames of hatred with lies so he can make more money.

Bannon with the help of the Right Wing media echo chamber is going to play a martyr role to make money like he did with his build the wall funding scam.
Bannon says he stands with Trump and the Constitution. That is an oxymoron. One can't be with Trump if one is for the Constitution.
Being for Trump and the Constitution is mutually exclusive.
