Title: Biden Impeachment Inquiry
Post by: Sexykitty on Dec 12, 2023, 10:33 PM
Love a guy that speaks up for himself when he is right...... Anyone want to talk about Biden impeachment or is everyone ignoring that?

House Republicans opened their inquiry in September over allegations that Biden reaped personal benefits from his family's foreign business dealings. Though investigators have found Biden's family made millions, the inquiry has yet to turn up evidence directly implicating the president. Link (https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2023/12/12/house-republicans-biden-impeachment-inquiry-lacks-transparency-effort/71880262007/)

Hearing is underway on the House floor. A lot of previously debunked allegations have been set forth to support the resolution for an inquiry investigation.

Unlike the Trump impeachments, both of which were based on clear evidence of misconduct, the Republicans have nothing but innuendo with respect to Biden. Some of them have admitted as much, but most of them are still beholden to Trump.

It's quite pathological.

Don't forget the numbers either.  There were not enough to remove Trump and there are not enough votes to remove Biden either so for me all it seems to accomplish is almost nothing.  Makes a political statement, rallies certain people together but otherwise is a waste of their time and MY tax money.  I'd prefer them all to do something more productive....uhh for me and the average citizen not just for themselves.

It's funny that at the time Republicans were complaining about the waste of time, resources and money from the impeachments of Trump, yet seem to have no problem doing the same with Biden.

The difference between the two is that the Democrats had a duty, I believe, to go through the process even knowing Trump wouldn't be convicted. When you have a president as corrupt and as criminal as Trump, you gotta get that shit on the record, for posterity if nothing else.

The Republicans, on the other hand, know they have no case. It's their Benghazi strategy all over again.

I disagree. Each side feels a duty for their reasons. Not cool to say someone else's duty is shit just because you don't like it.  At the end of the day does any of this back and forth ever move things forward for the country?  It hasn't for me. In large part I've lived the same no matter who is in power which is why I don't care if Trump or Hunter is convicted.   They are no friends or relatives of mine.  They can both rot or not.  Why would I care?

Biden's poll numbers are worse than Jimmy Carter's, I didn't think that would happen in my lifetime.
Biden is going to lose and Trump will be President again, at least with Trump we know the economy will get better.

Dictator Trump will win?  Have fun with Trump's threats toward human life that will murder his own people.  He don't care about any of his followers.  I'm sure that is something they are looking forward to.  American people have no idea how Nazi Trump is wet and ready to go.  That's Hitler, a mad angry "STD brained meth user" who got followers just like him to kill millions (those Germans were cowards).  The Republican party new campaign, we don't care like Dictator Trump and never do anything for America.

The economy is getting better on senile, how's that going for yeah!

Actually I was doing better between 2016-2020, everything was cheaper and I was seeing providers at least once a month.
This year my car insurance jumped 50% and I don't have any DUI or accidents, my health insurance premiums have gone up 40% since 2020. My premiums didn't go up under Trump.

You Democrats can sugar coat Bidenomics all you want but it isn't reality to the average American.

Exactly how is Biden to blame for your car insurance going up?
Mine went down and my stocks made me 109k this week

And everything was cheaper between 2012-2016, and everything was cheaper still between 2008- 2012. How is it Biden's fault prices keep going up as they always have?

I love how Trump thinks Obama is still president 2023.  Does that mean Trump was never President?  He has forgotten he was President.  Too funny.

I did not say the Orange God was a dictator in 2023.  He said. "I will be a dictator for one day 2024".  I'm just quoting what he said.

There are 3 top psychologist stating he is mentally ill.

Biden has brought back the economy from COVID

PM Trudeau is a socialist idiot and most Canadians can't stand him because they didn't elect him.
At least in the US we get to elect the executive leader unlike parliamentary governments.

I'm  in Egypt right now on a tour with mostly Canadians and they love Trudeau. They also Hate Trump and think he belongs in jail.
The Egyptians perfure Biden over Trump.
Egypt is raising the minimum wage to $312 per month.
We have it pretty good in the USA
Amazing tour
16 days
Not easy though

Well once again generalizations are usually not 100% true.  There's almost always exceptions.
Some Canadians like Trump and others like Biden.  Some like Trudeau and others don't.  So what.
What's the point of saying a Canadian likes certain politicians when the opposite is just as true?
(I know why. I'm seeing if people that make such comments know why and can possibly have a more balanced view of the world.  Never mind, that will never happen.)
The political demography in Canada is a bit like in the US where conservatives tend to live in smaller towns in the middle and liberals tend to live in the largest cities.
They're not all the same any more than Americans are ---- DUH ! (as a Canadian might say).

I thought they said "Eh" in Canada.
Hitler came to power because the Nazi party gained a majority in the Reichstag, the majority party picked their leader.
Isn't parliamentary government great, eh?

Ultimately that was true but I'd imagine you know there was a long history leading up to the point Hitler became Chancellor.  Didn't just happen overnight and there were a number of economic, social, and political factors that lead to it.

I'm visiting the Reichstag next summer.  I do not plan to say Heil Hitler while there.

I know, I was just giving the Cliffs Notes version of history and how our founding fathers wanted the citizens to vote for their President.

Germany is nice, I was stationed there. Austria is a must see, northern Italy is another.

Quote...at least with Trump we know the economy will get better.

Trump inherited a good economy from Obama. The pandemic caused worldwide economic havoc. There is absolutely no basis to predict that Trump will bring a good economy.

During the 2020 presidential campaign Trump claimed, "If Biden wins, you're gonna have a stock market collapse the likes of which you've never had."  Stock market hits record high as stocks cap longest weekly winning streak since 2017.

Trump increased the National Debt by 8 trillion dollars.

The majority of the voters in the United States do not get to elect the president. Trump never won the popular vote. He became president because of the Electoral College map.
