It was Republicans who voted for the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote*
It was Republicans who voted for the 1964 Civil Rights Act*

*the Presidents at the time were Democrats who were originally against the Amendment

PragerU is not the most credible of sources. Anyway, a bullet point saying "It was Republicans who voted for the 1964 Civil Rights Act" is misleading of facts.
It erroneously leads one to think that Democrats did not vote for it.

President Lyndon B. Johnson, a Democrat, used a lot of his political influence to get the Civil Rights Act passed. Some called it his last miracle.
Given the strong opposition by the Southern Democrats, who later became Republicans, the bill would not have passed without the support of the Republican legislators.
