Republican Leader Mitch McConnell was unable to finish his opening remarks during his weekly press conference on Wednesday (7/26/2023).
He might of had a mini stroke(TIA) or a bout of dementia, it's clearly a sign of health problems.
Like I said before, we can't have elderly people running our country. It's time to retire Mitch.
Obviously a health issue. Biden, McConnell, Feinstein and Fetterman all need to go.
I think MTG and Boebert are more sick than any of these old folks. Mentally sick.

There's nothing we can do, only Congress passing a bill and the President signing it would do it.
Term limits for members of Congress will never pass either, notice how they passed the 22nd amendment which limits the President to two terms but not themselves.

I'm fairly sure it would require a constitutional amendment. But why continue talking about it when there's literally zero chance of it happening?

IMO, 4yrs is far too short. I have no issues with a term limit for the Judicial Branch, but at only 4 years that gives the current POTUS too much power, especially if they are elected for two terms. Not too mention its simply too much turnover for such an important branch due to their low number. I'd say an 18-year term is workable. With 9 Justices we'd have new blood every-other year.

Senator Mitch McConnell and Senator Dianne Feinstein over the decades have made a lot of accomplishments, (accomplishments that one may or may not agree with) so there is a lot of respect for them from their Senate colleagues.
Feinstein not retiring may be a strategy to help Governor Newsom avoid political pitfalls. If she retires Newsom has to appoint someone to fill the vacancy. Amidst the political drama to appoint a black woman and potential disadvantages to other announced candidates for Feinstein's seat.
Newsom painted himself into a corner with promising to appoint a black woman and the reparation task force.
