Alexei Navalny, Russian politician who opposed Putin to the end, has died in prison.  His family members and supporters say authorities repeatedly denied Navalny medical care and subjected him to long, punishing stints in solitary confinement with the apparent aim of preventing his access to the outside world. Navalny was struck down with 'sudden death syndrome', his mother was told at Russian prison.  They would not release the body to her.

Putin previously tried to have Navalny killed through attempted poising.

Democrats and Republicans alike have been condemning Putin for engineering Alexei Navalny's death. Trump seemingly afraid of offending Putin, has for days has been silent about the death of Alexei Navalny. Trump has been getting criticism for avoiding the issue.

Today Trump breaks his silence with his social media post:
The sudden death of Alexei Navalny has made me more and more aware of what is happening in our Country. It is a slow, steady progression, with CROOKED, Radical Left Politicians, Prosecutors, and Judges leading us down a path to destruction. Open Borders, Rigged Elections, and Grossly Unfair Courtroom Decisions are DESTROYING AMERICA. WE ARE A NATION IN DECLINE, A FAILING NATION! MAGA2024

What a tool. Trump always figures out how to play the victim.  Trump a coward all his life, dogged the draft, said POWs are losers because they got caught, and people that die serving their country are suckers dares to compare himself to a true hero.

Trump has stretched free speech to the extreme limits. His indictments came from Grand Juries made up of American citizens. The Biden Administration has kept a hands off position as the Justice Department pursues to hold Trump accountable for his multiple crimes.
Too much sex is still not enough.

So I guess he felt some pressure to comment on Navalny's death, but he only mentioned it and immediately turned to his current grievances.

This is in the wake of his announcement that he would encourage Russia to "do whatever the hell they want" to a country that was "delinquent" in its NATO obligations.

Meanwhile, the GOP-controlled House has held up aid to Ukraine, further emboldening Putin.

Why would ANY American continue to support Trump and his fellow GOP traitors?

Trump - who has expressed admiration for Putin both during his 2017-2021 White House tenure and afterward - continued to compare himself to Navalny, implying that they both had faced politically motivated prosecutions. "But it's happening in our country too," Trump said. "We are turning into a communist country in many ways. And if you look at it - I'm the leading candidate. I get indicted."

A man, who wants to be President, doesn't know the meaning of Communism.  The United States is NOT a Communist country.  Hell, Russia in no longer a Communist country.  Russia has a massive concentration of wealth.

"Today Russia is not communist at all, but in fact a deranged form of a right-wing government structure that is run by a despotic maniac." Putin's government is not communist not even socialist. It is a reactionary and right-wing government. Link
