Check it out! This gal hit the nail on the head about why RB was so popular. It wasn't the hobbyist or the providers. It was because people could obtain a celebrity status, like Rock Stars on the site. I have seen this on the sex cam rooms as well... I thought these guys were tipping so much to show off but nope it is to be a celebrity Rock Star in the room. Makes them seem important in their regular mundane ordinary lives, which is perfectly okay. Everybody wants to be known and liked. I never really thought about this nor did it ever occur to me that this is exactly on target and why we haven't been able to get the turnouts at the parties nor participation on the boards as RB had. This gal is spot on... I did not know hobbyists by their names... bill, tom, and dick I knew them by their handles and from their posts on RB. Same with providers I knew them by handles from the boards. Many of the providers became rock stars on RB that IG Facebook could not begin to compete with.
There were the famous and the infamous found:
- Posters on the forums
- Attendees/sponsors at the mixers
- Men that were prolific review writers
- Women that were highly reviewed.
Some handles were "A List" celebrities good and bad known throughout RB.
I remember her! From NS but not RB, Sac is not my area.
