One thing I know his whole negative field will not sustain itself,  As I write, Trump is imploding himself with all his followers.  It will be a turning point when Trump knows he has lost.  He will commit suicide and tell all his cult followers.  That's want cults do, they have no sense of themselves, no idenity.  Trump makes them feel like ............................. they belong somewhere.

Stephanopoulos didn't say he doesn't support democracy. I think he was stating the obvious: with Biden's age increasingly affecting his ability to speak in public settings, he doesn't give the appearance of a man able to do the job of POTUS. And appearances are important in that job.

The Democrats' goal is to WIN, and Biden must recognize that he might be unable to pull it off. So he has to consider stepping aside, but I understand why he hasn't yet entertained that idea publicly. The minute he says out loud that he's open to that possibility, then he's out for sure, IMO.

There are others. Newsom, Whitmer, etc.

First, Joe would have to agree to step down. Then, the Democrats would have to unite behind ONE ticket.

I don't know how that happens, but if it can, it should.

I don't think any of them could beat Trump nationally, Newsom would win Cali but he's not very popular with the rest of the country. Kamala is polling better now but I doubt she could beat Trump either. RFK Jr will be taking votes away from Democrats.

I'm hoping that enough "conservatives" have tired of Trump's bullshit that they'll stay home, while enough Democrats will see how important it is for them to get out and vote considering the alternative.

Trump lost the election the very day after the election Trump claimed he won the election was rigged.  He went court after court state after state and they dismissed his complaint because he had no evidence of election tampering. Even the SCOTUS rejected his case.  So what does he do trys to get Pence to not accept Electoral Votes.  Pence declined missed off Trump.  Trump in last desperation planned a rally and invited far right extremist to attend promising it to be wild.  Trump gave his speech to incident his extremist supporters to riot and invade attack the Capitol. I want to know how any patriotic citizen can excuse Trump for treason.
