It seems the origin of this was a post on Twitter.
However I see no one looking into who posted that and asking them to verify their claim.
Instead at this point it seems people either believe it or not with zero solid evidence
(that I have seen) what is going on one way or the other.
(just because there is no police report or a local official is
not aware of anything does not mean something has not happened)
Meanwhile supposedly real (but probably fake sick "joke") photos of pets on a BBQ are being posted.

It does not affect me so I don't care.
If a crime has been committed then the local police can deal with it.

A fact is, there are a few 911 calls from the public stating this issue. That is technically evidence as well. The issue they did not come across any physical evidence means nothing. The perpetuator could of been gone by then.
911 calls with eyewitness accounts of men taking the geese. Upon checking on the calls, they could not find them. Does not mean it did not happen.

We all evaluate the credibility of the sources of the information we rely on. You do it, too, or else you never would have accepted as fact a lot of the things you learned in school.

It doesn't mean everything we think we know is ironclad. But everybody has to choose a standard of proof to rely upon. And that standard doesn't necessarily have to be, "I saw it with my own eyes," or "I performed that experiment myself," or "I know her tits are fake because I did her implants."

That being said the moderators did a good job. They could have fact checked Trump all night long, but they didn't. The egregious lies of eating cats and executing babies needed to be immediately fact checked.

I disagree. Trump said nothing that required immediate attention to be corrected by Moderators. The debate is between two candidates and not with the Moderators.  I'm sure in the future Moderators will be restricted from fact checking.
