Remember about a decade ago when the governor of Michigan(who was a Republican) was blamed by Democrats for the lead in Flint's water? The lead pipes were installed during WWI before the governor was even born.

Remember a few years ago when that ice storm hit Texas and the power went out, the Democrats tried to blame Sen Ted Cruz(R) because he was on vacation in Mexico? A US Senator has little control over the power grid.

In this case the fires were the direct cause of letting crazy people and illegals out on the streets to start them, then not having the resources to put them out.

They don't know who or how the fire was started so making statements of how or who started the fire is bullshit.  They may never know.  My concern is nothing was done to lessen the fire load and we see the result.  Democrats can say nothing could be done because of the high winds.  Well they did nothing so did officials know there would be high winds and nothing could be done to stop the wide spread destruction so why bother?  Why spend money on something you can't stop?  I wonder which city is next?

It isn't true that nothing was done. In hindsight, you can say that more should have been done, but the only sure way to stop homes from burning in out-of-control fires is not to build them in fire-prone areas or to build them with non-combustible materials.

Tell me what was done to prevent this wildfire...not stop it but reduce the chances of growing to the massive size? I can't find anything.

Palicades wasn't built in a known fire zone.  After the ban put in place years to stop prescribe fires to clear away fire fuel decades ago the area became over burden with dead dried out vegetation. Sure even a small grass fire driven by 80 mph winds can become uncontrollable. Control burning and removing dead trees and brush is the best way to prevent out of control wild fires.

Democrats have fought everything to prevent fires. They have done no preventative maintenance.  per say. We the voters passed in 2014  to fund building reservoirs in California, To date none have been built.
Let reservoirs go dry.
Took funding away that supported fire fighting.
