Trump White House official Peter Navarro convicted of contempt after defying House Jan. 6 subpoena.
Navarro was the second Trump aide to face contempt of Congress charges after former White House adviser Steve Bannon. Bannon was convicted of two counts and was sentenced to four months behind bars, though he has been free pending appeal. Link

Navarro claimed Executive Privilege for not showing up to the Committee hearing. Problem for him is that Trump never asserted it. So, Navarro was left out to spin in the wind. Navarro should have showed up and at the hearing where he could have refused to answer questions that he claimed were under Executive Privilege or taken the 5th.
