The problem with People on the left is the fact that they try to take a moral high ground while trashing those who don't agree with them. Then their only defense is to start insulting and changing others views and opinions of the person as they can't argue against that person's viewpoints and instead tries to attack their character. By claiming that someone is in the middle because they aren't willing to align with a side is a pathetic attempt to disparage someone as someone who tries to play the field. It's sad but that what happens when you are told what to think and say instead of actually forming your own thoughts. It's sad living in an echo chamber instead of trying to listen to all sides and forming your own opinion. People in the middle are not in the middle. Very few people are in the middle. It's mostly people who agree with somethings on the right and somethings on the left. They are given the title Independent like Bernie Sanders. Bernie is not in the middle. He had strong briefs of either being in the left or the right on particular stances.

I do hope one day your political party will allow you to think for yourself,  however, I do understand many of those on the left or right need that master to tell them how to think and act because they can't do it for themselves. Critical thinking is hard and many old folks tell themselves that it's too late for them to learn new tricks but if a dog can do it, I'm certain Democrats and Republicans can too. Or are you saying that Democrats and Republicans are dumber than dogs?  Or is this another attempt both parties use to blame everyone for their failures in life and not themselves by attacking others because they can't support their arguments. I'm waiting for the moment when you start using the racism, fascism, nazi shtick again since you've already gone the route of crying troll.

I think most people are in the middle

It's called the middle but it's not really the middle. As per most surveys find, the biggest group of voters are actually independent and most vote Democrat come election time but identify as independent. Most people tend to skew slightly towards the left at most people realize that many social programs and services are needed whereas the right would get rid of them all. We do have a glut of redundant programs but it doesn't mean some of them are not needed. Cutting social security and medicaid is dumb. They're just leaving the most vulnerable in our society to die
