For the past couple of days we have not been able access this website.

Hobby was advised by Orange Hosting who hosts our website that Fantasy Saloon account was suspended due to reported phishing.

Orange Hosting is giving Hobby a chance to correct the situation. Another complaint and Orange Hosting will kill the account. They told him to go through all the website files looking for problems. Not sure what he is looking for.

Personal information is not gathered by Fantasy Saloon. So, clueless about the reports of phishing.

See related thread:  Norton is blocking this site  https://fantasysaloon.com/index.php?msg=12362

I managed to fix that issue easily. I do not know about this new challenge.

I have deleted all the extraneous boards that linked other url's but I don't know what the complaint is or how our site is pishing...

This is what Orange told me...

 Hello,

Your nameservers should be siti.ns.orangewebsite.com and buffy.ns.orangewebsite.com (which is what they are set to).
I will unsuspended your hosting account for the next 5 hours. Please be sure to remove any and all phishing files in this time. If you are caught for this again your account will be terminated.

Hello,

We have a very strict policy for phishing, usually we dont unsuspend after someone is caught but im taking a chance here and going to give you the benefit of the doubt. You need to go through all your files and look for anything that might be malicious or that you haven't added or for any code that look strange.

I have no clue... do we have any members here that know what to do about this?

The ONLY thing that I could see that might be it is this.
For a while I was posting ads and also on top of that questions for the members to make it a "more active" board.

From MY post, someone contacted me and told me they were a fantasy member and so excited that I value the members of fantasy,  might give them discounts and see then with less screening since they are vetted already.  Person said,I'd like an appointment tomorrow.

I replied- GREAT! you must actually message me ON Fantasy.

They replied with a link and told me to click the link with their account on it.

Again in which I said, you must message me as a vetted member as that is the ONLY way I'll accept any appointment.

(Ghosted). Not real.
Scam.
Someone trying to hack into my account just like they do on PD or Tryst.

*this is how I realized a lot of my posts were not private on this website and (i thought it was more private lioe GLH was) since then,  I do not post much anymore.
I logged out and clear as day was my info and ads and of course a reason for someone to think they could do phishing.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone else also had this happen and clicked the link and got scammed easy.
It happens often to other sites.

Just my 2 cents.

Do not reply to any posted link by anyone for any reason.  Use our message system for security. Only our members should have access to it... I am reviewing all of our boards and security... You know if people don't let me know things are happening I can't do anything about it until it is too late...

The hypocrisy of religious hacking fanatics found your site?  It's the war on sex, porn, sex workers and the divine female.

GLH was constantly bombarded with SPAM and attacks. I'd just add their ip addresses to the block list and move on. The more the front end is public facing the more apt hackers and losers might apply attack vectors.  They often don't even know anything about the site, but might detect it's an SMF forum and then trigger it's SMF forum script. Sadly, people are aholes out there.  Thanks for keeping it up Hobby!

Yes , this is way more public than I'm comfortable with but my messages are always open and available for real members.

I'm no IT expert but I'll guess it has something to do with what some above referred to. Real members here probably are not phishing but there have been numerous spam posts like the guy supposedly selling tennis shoes.  Links in such posts may have been identified as phishing elsewhere and hence they could be here too.
