Yes, she is quite astonishing. I've been a fan for several years now and I'm always moved by the story behind her practice of always performing barefooted on stage. In some of her many videos, you can find her entire family in the audience cheering her on. One video in particular reveals her 7 year old little sister crossing ALL of her fingers as Angelina performs in competition at AGT. It always chokes me up.

There are some amazing singers on TV show singing competitions, several of which I watch regularly like:

AGT----singers mixed in with other performers
American Idol---lost a bit of luster maybe but still has some good ones
The Voice---many good ones although few seem to become famous.
Masked Singer----famous people that are not always professional singers dress in costumes until they lose and then they reveal their identity.
