I would have tossed the whole lot in prison and threw away the key, including Big Mouth Trump and his Stooges that stood up on that platform whining and crying that the election was stolen for Pence to do the right thing! They had no business storming the US capitol disrupting and terrorizing! It was just plain shameful behavior! This is my opinion and we can debate this for all eternity and I won't condone what happened that day!

The majority was there as a peaceful protest. A few were not and need to be dealt with.

Media Hype and a political agenda made this more than it was.

Political and justice system needs to be fair across the board and you see no hype about the summer riots that caused many deaths, property damage, and trespassing on FEDERAL property.. Can you say hypocrits....

Ashlee Babbit was NOT waived in. Have you seen the video? Her death was tragic because she soaked up the propaganda and that apparently led her to believe she had a right to climb through that smashed-in window. To the cop on the other side, she represented a threat, for obvious reasons.

As for the summer riots, please just stop. That had nothing to do with January 6th, and so there is no hypocrisy. It's a red herring tossed out by people who want to minimize what happened at the Capitol.

There is huge difference what happens on the streets and what happen at the US Capitol.... Violence is no good where ever it occurs.  At our capitol congress held a joint session the same as it has been done every four years since the US became a nation. All the rioters had elected representatives carrying out their duty as prescribed by the constitution. The riot was a disgraceful act or right wing loons doing Trump's bidding to overthrow our government, not an act of a patriot.
