A witness for Trump has flipped, after ditching his Trump-affiliated lawyer. Yuscil Taveras "Employee 4", says when he testified in March he denied any contacts or conversations about the security footage.

When he made these statements he had the same lawyer as one of Trump's co-defendants in the case, Stanley Woodward, who was being paid by a Trump PAC.

According to the Special Council, "Mr. Taveras did not get to choose his lawyer, Woodward was appointed to him by one of the lawyers on Trump's legal team".

After being told he could be facing charges for lying about the security footage and raising the possibility that having the same Trump-funded lawyer representing defendants and witnesses was a potential conflict of interest, the judge offered Taveras the chance to talk to a different lawyer about those conflicts. He had him talk to a Public Defender, not a lawyer paid for by Trump or his PAC.

Immediately after receiving new counsel, "Trump Employee 4" retracted his prior false testimony and provided information that implicated Nauta, De Oliveir, and Trump in an effort to delete security camera footage.

It just keeps looking worse and worse for Trump...
