California is now banning the sale of non refillable propane canisters.
I guess they intend on people using electric stoves while camping. LMAO

They are banning the non refill not tanks designed to be refilled. The small one pound tanks are suppose to be a use then toss the tank.  I have the adapter to fill them but I am not suppose to as if done by an idiot could explode.

Oh this is Good Ole California part 2.

I haven't gone camping in years so it doesn't effect me but I think banning them is stupid when you can buy them in other states, there's a reason that Cabela's sporting goods on I-80 at Boomtown is so busy, people from Cali stop there to buy ammo and other stuff banned in Cali. They use to sell fireworks at Boomtown also.
Are we having fun yet?

I love California too. Too many Democrats and I just can't afford what they charge for the view!😄

Between 4 million and 7 million non-refillable canisters are sold each year in California. How many do you suppose they sell in Boomtown?

Those things are super convenient to use but very unfriendly to the environment. The ban takes effect on January 1, 2028.

More will be sold in Boomtown as of 1/2028.
The ban will to little to nothing for the environment.
Just like California's FAILED plastic recycling program.
In which California is trying to push the failures blame on others instead of California's arrogance.
Like California's ban on clear cutting. Caused major fires destroying property.

People will still buy canisters out of state, but that will be inconvenient for most people.

What's the basis for your claim that the ban will have little effect on the environment?
