not what has happened, pretty easy to find. Asylum seekers can long cross the border and wait up to 10 years for a hearing. They now get a hearing in 30 days. while waiting on the other side of border. US gov. has been flying people back to where they came from for months. Plus other thing in the executive order. But of course Fox news never covered this until after the election.

You say this like a surplus of illegal aliens is something that just happened in the last 4 years. There is an entire industry that has been in business for DECADES relying on those same illegal aliens, some of who have gone on to become legal citizens.

How fast can he sign his signature and how much time would he have to sign them given there are other activities on the actual inauguration day? Inauguration is not typically until noon so some of the day is wasted due to that.  From what I've read he may "only" sign about 25 but some may have very big implications.  He signed 14 in his first week in office in 2017 so maybe 25 in a day is a lot.

Hyperbole is Trump's signature propaganda tool. He exaggerates the problem and repeats it (with the help of right-wing media) to the point where he's got many millions of Americans thinking his bullshit might be factual.

People are foolish enough to believe not only the exaggerated scale of the problem but also that Biden caused it. For good measure, he added the nonsense claims that half the immigrants are murderers or mentally ill.

And it doesn't matter if some of these Trumpers say they don't watch Fox News. The disinformation is the same no matter which right-wing source they choose.

The result is that in two of the last three elections, Trump has been able to win because Democrats weren't able to counter the firehose of bullshit effectively.
