Trump filed suit against the Des Moines Register and its pollster after the final election result didn't coincide with the pollster's educated guess about where the voters stood before the election.

This would be absurd under any circumstances, but it's corrosive to democracy when the plaintiff is the president-elect.

That $15 million wasn't "awarded." It was a settlement. ABC News caved, probably because Trump won the election. The wealthy folks that head Disney probably didn't think it was worth fighting when the psycho who's about to become president is a guy who runs to his lawyers every time someone calls him a name.

Companies settle all the time. They aren't admitting fault. They're trying to make the problem go away.

Neither does it absolve them. Settling is exactly that, settling. They are neither admitting fault nor are they saying that they were right, however, people always try to spin things in their favor. Not certain why the Democrats are trying to take this as a win when President Trump got $15 million to contribute to his Library

The comment may have been planned ahead of time to draw attention to Trump as a rapist.  Can't say it in ads as that would cost a fortune in liability. 16 million is a drop in the bucket.

So much for having a president that will focus on bringing down prices at the grocery store like he promised during his campaign.

I've seen Democrats express dismay over the fact that Disney caved. I have not seen any Democrat imply that it was a win.

I've come to believe that Trump forgets all about most of what he says during his campaigns. When he's speaking at one of his events, or anyplace else for that matter, he's mostly just making shit up as he goes.

I further believe that he has been making up stories on the fly his entire life, not only because he doesn't care about facts but also because he has been repeatedly rewarded for that behavior.

Dont kid yourself, Trump won the case! A person receives compensation in a settled case...yes they won the case without verdict. Many times a case is settled so a jury doesn't award a higher amount and penalties which could bankrupt a corporation.  Saying Trump was found liable for rape was in error.

Trump comments in the Hollywood tape tells me that Trump believes he can force women to fuck him and nothing will be done because he is rich and famous.
