When I retired my SSI was cut by 700 per month because I had a state pension.  Congress finally repealed the offset so I am going to get a huge pay raise.

When Joe Biden signs this repeal he will become my favorite president of all...

Congratulations for now but is it possible Trump will reverse that since now with each administration they often (whether Democratic or Republican) seem to want to reverse a large amount of what the previous administration did.

That bill has been on and off 3 times in the last 6 months. Hope it sticks this time.

With the debt ceiling drama, Trump has already learned that he can't get his way just because he threatens to hold his breath and stomp up and down. Plus, it's popular, except with the most hardline budget cutters. I think this will stick.

Trump said he supports the fairness act. Just need Biden to sign it into law and he will.

Trump probably doesn't know or care what the fairness act is. It has the word fair, so he's against it, or thinks it has something to do with golf.

Congress passed the SSI Fairness Act last Saturday but Biden has not signed it into law.  They say he is expected to sign it but I not so sure about it.  If I didn't have bad luck I would have no luck at all.  Trump said he supported the act.

Congress is adjourned so in 10 days excluding Sundays if Biden doesn't sign the Act it's a pocket veto and the Act is DOA!

Joe Biden has signed into law the Social Security Fairness Act.  The bill rescinds two provisions — the Windfall Elimination Provision and the Government Pension Offset that limit Social Security benefits for recipients if they get retirement payments from other sources, including public retirement programs from a state or local government.
