Watching Fox News tonight, it's clear Trump and his media allies are using this incident to hype their usual crap about how the FBI under Biden can't be trusted and Homeland Security is asleep at the wheel.

And the border! Oh my God, the border! (Even though this guy was born in the U.S., crossings are down, deportations are up, etc.)

Why are they still pushing these lies despite winning the election? Initially, it wasn't clear, but then they showed their hand because their viewers are so stupid they need to be explicit or the message won't be received.

They clearly think that continuing to fear-monger about the border and the FBI and whatever else the Trumpers have on their brains is a good way to convince people that Trump's appointees need to be confirmed quickly so they can fix all the problems created by Biden's people avoid public scrutiny.
