It is official, Donald Trump was charged as a felon.  He will be the first American Felon President.  January 10, 2025

It does not matter if trump pardons himself.  He will always be a convicted felon.  Let's see what all the convicted felons do when they see that Trump pardons himself  This could get really messy with felon trump and felons in America.  He will go down in history as first felon president, his legacy is crime, murder, racism, rapes, republican cult of haters.. Right now he's going to try to look like he fits in, so fake, hilarious.  President Carter's funeral, Trump was not welcomed and Melania left the room.  She held her papers inside down.  She looked angry for being dressed like a pilgrim.

Happy New Year.  Kamala Harris is one brave women and she will succeed.

Trump can pardon himself from that stupid felony which was politically motivated. Get ready Democrat politicians because payback will be a bitch.

It doesn't matter what the motivation was. He was convicted by a jury of his peers. He's a felon.

This was a State conviction NOT a Fedreral conviction. Trump has no pardoning power here.

So much for bringing down grocery prices like Trump promised.

It would appear that there are Trump supporters that were not interested in the economy, but rather in grievance politics. So, would you agree that the Democratic politicians should have a trial by a jury like Trump had?

And how about an outcome that was not even a "finger wag" let alone a slap on the wrist.

So you are saying that Trump will be using a part of the government to attack his political rivals?

Haven't you all been complaining for YEARS about people doing just that to Trump? Why is it bad that others do it, but you are CELEBRATING Trump doing it to others?

The above article stated:
"Now that Mr. Trump has been sentenced, he can begin a formal appeal of his conviction.
He cannot, however, pardon himself.
Presidential pardon authority does not extend to state charges. "

Try to have a good time.

Here's the audio of Trump's statement to the court after his "sentencing" to...no jail time, no fine, no probation, no nothing. It's a little over 6 minutes long.

Trump's main points seemed to be:

  • He was indicted for recording legal expenses as legal expenses (these were the payments that ALL the jurors, impartial finders of fact, concluded were in service of interfering with the 2016 election by keeping Stormy Daniels quiet about their hotel room dalliance in Tahoe )
  • All the legal experts that he knows of think the case shouldn't have been brought (he named three or four lawyers he saw on Fox News and one guy he saw on CNN)
  • He won the election by a landslide (as if that has anything to do with the case even if it were true)
  • He was treated very unfairly (he always says this when something doesn't go his way)

Bogus conviction with no repercussions say it all. Politically motivated.
Video says it all...

Of all the cases brought against Trump, this is the only one that was at least somewhat politically motivated, I agree. But that doesn't invalidate it. Unless the convictions are overturned on appeal, as the Fox News lawyers insist they will be, history will forever show that your guy was a duly convicted felon.

As for the video, it's hilarious that the person who titled it wrote that the witness was "grilled" by the guy asking questions. That witness was so friendly to the committee they might as well have been on a dinner date together.

Motivation is irrelevant. A jury of his peers convicted him.

Motivation by an activist DA is relevant.
By the lack of a sentence or fine the judge knew this case was BS but was forced to take it anyway, after his ruling the judge wished Trump well.

The judge explained in his order a few days ago why he imposed the no-sentence sentence. It's not a difficult read, but even educated Americans love commenting without informing themselves. No wonder Trump got elected again.
