Again, the issue is not ending the war, but how. Peace on terms acceptable only to Putin and Trump would be a disaster, for it would guarantee further Russian aggression down the road and the practical finalization of America's withdrawal from our decades-long alliances with other Western democracies.

It is all bad, not only for America, but for our now former allies, and there don't seem to be any congressional Republicans that have the spine to stand up to President Fuckwit.

I do have a better plan, and that is to support Ukraine for as long as they're willing to do the fighting. If they get to a point where they can no longer fight, then we'll figure out something else.

Not only is it the right thing to do, it would also be far cheaper for us in the long run than siding with Putin.
