If President Trump had been reelected would we be in the mess we are in today?  Would Russia have invaded Ukraine? Would we have the influx of illegals and drugs entering our country?

I say... No... No... No... When Trump left office our economy was in good shape, unemployment pre-pandemic was a record low, inflation was low at 1.3%, we made it through the pandemic, got warp speed vaccines, and many of Trump's policies, tax cuts, controlling the border, and trade deals help our economy bounce back and continue to grow until Biden destroyed all Trump policies in favor of going Green. Russia would not have invaded Ukraine.  Russia invaded Crimea during the Obama era and saw the same weakness in Biden. Everything that has happened since Biden took office, high gas prices, record inflation, illegals, and drugs flooding our southern border is the fault of Democrats and Biden's incompetency. Come this November voters will know and feel the difference and will vote out Democrats from office.

As long as we're speculating about things we can't possibly know, here's my take:

1. By now, Trump would have placed loyalists in every top military leadership position

2. Putin would have invaded Ukraine, and Trump would have been on Putin's side. It would be even more disastrous than it is now.

3. He would have continued his dismantling of our institutions to the point that our democracy would be a relic.

4. He would already be talking about a third term as president, in his aspiration to be more like his buddy Putin.

What are you talking about? There was no Trump economy bounce back. Trump inherited a good economy. The unemployment rate is lower under Biden than under Trump. This has been previously discussed.

We have previously discussed the factors of inflation. A number of factors were not under Biden's control, nor would they have been under Trump's control. Link

I don't know why Biden doesn't get rid of the inflationary Trump tariffs.

"Russia would not have invaded Ukraine." You don't know that. Speculation based on opinion. What we do know is that Biden has been the driving force in bringing other countries to condemn Russian and support Ukraine.

If Biden is doing such a fantastic job why is his approval rating now at 36%?  Biden is on track to have the worst approval rating of any president since FDR! Worse than Jimmy Carter! Face it Democrats supported a loser.

Inflation was purely caused by Biden and this Administration.

Gee, imagine that? A Trump lying about inflation: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2022/04/18/fact-check-post-online-overstates-inflation-under-biden/7274404001/

Also, while the Trump zombies say things would go better under Trump, his numbers say differently:

https://www.factcheck.org/2021/10/trumps-final-numbers/

The economy lost 2.9 million jobs. The unemployment rate increased by 1.6 percentage points to 6.3%.
Paychecks grew faster than inflation. Average weekly earnings for all workers were up 8.7% after inflation.
After-tax corporate profits went up, and the stock market set new records. The S&P 500 index rose 67.8%.
The international trade deficit Trump promised to reduce went up. The U.S. trade deficit in goods and services in 2020 was the highest since 2008 and increased 40.5% from 2016.
The number of people lacking health insurance rose by 3 million.
The federal debt held by the public went up, from $14.4 trillion to $21.6 trillion.
Home prices rose 27.5%, and the homeownership rate increased 2.1 percentage points to 65.8%.
Illegal immigration increased. Apprehensions at the Southwest border rose 14.7% last year compared with 2016.
Coal production declined 26.5%, and coal-mining jobs dropped by 16.7%. Carbon emissions from energy consumption dropped 11.5%.
Handgun production rose 12.5% last year compared with 2016, setting a new record.
The murder rate last year rose to the highest level since 1997.

If Trump were in power and things continued that way, the only ones saying things were better would be the rich...

Still drinking that Kool-Aid. The economy was booming and strong right up to Covid. The figures you quote are only good for 3 years the last year was Covid and the economy was shut down.  Had Covid not happened you would be singing a different tune....

If we go by approval ratings, Republicans supported a looser and are still supporting a looser.

The opinions expressed in this thread on Biden keep saying to ignore the current crisis/war as it isn't applicable, ONLY what the President does. So if that's true, shouldn't that apply to Trump too?

Fact...Gas prices and inflation were rising long before Russia invaded Ukraine. So no it is not relevant. The war has had some effect, however, if Biden keeps handing money to Ukraine will cause more inflation.

Fact: The price of gas rose during Trump's administration, thus it can be shown it is the state of things and not an indicator of blame on Biden.

Go tell that to the voters this November, and see if they agree with you! LOL
