That is the MAGA crowd spin.

The Mueller investigation was created by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein (Republican). Investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections, links between associates of Donald Trump and Russian officials, and possible obstruction of justice by Trump and his associates.

Quote from: Blkfyre on May 27, 2022, 06:15 PMYou do know we've been putting car hazardous waste into the ground for decades right? Car batteries, oil, other fluids? That the process of getting the oil for gas can and has polluted the environment? To say that EV is crazy is to say gas cars are crazy too...

Not true today.  Car batteries are recycled, oil is collected and recycled along with other hazardous fluids.  Cars themselves are recycled iron, steel, and plastics.  There is no dumping of the items you mentioned allowed in landfills. I do agree there has to be a replacement for oil as someday we will run out then what?  The cleanest form of energy is Nuclear but not practical for transportation. Batteries are not the answer at least not what they have today.  Lithium batteries are extremely hazardous and can explode in auto accidents. Very unsafe in car crashes but little is said about this.  Alternative fuels such as hydrogen is being looked at.

I have not heard of any gas lines at the pumps... this tells me the story of gas shortages is BS...

I know for a FACT there is hazardous waste being dumped in the ground in rural Nevada.
This is not public Knowledge that I'm aware of.
Hazardous waste is transported from California and other areas to Nevada and buriied.

Biden isn't stupid... he is incompetent or should I say the people pulling his strings are incompetent.  The stupid ones are those who believe what he is saying and ignore what Biden did the first few weeks of his term. More and more Democrats and far-left are realizing what is happening and Biden is to blame for it but they will never admit to it... Everything that is going wrong started going wrong on Jan 21 2021. Gas prices started climbing, housing rent is climbing, food costs... now the stock market is declining rapidly and people are getting financially crushed as they see their investments lose money every week.  All the gains since Biden took office are wiped out.  Soon all the extensions for Covid relief will be gone and things will get far worse in the coming months. All we can do is hang on and ride this storm out. This is going to be a replay of 2007 when bank loans caused the recession only this will recession will be caused by high fuel prices and piss poor president. People are spending all their money to buy gas and food, and soon won't be able to pay the rent or credit cards.

OK. You know it for a fact. How, if what you say is true and it's not public knowledge? Can you link us to these FACTS so we can see them for ourselves?

Bande is correct again!  Hazardous waste is hauled in and buried less than 40 miles from where I live unless you think nuclear waste is nonhazardous! LMAO...

Re: gasoline prices.   See my other posts on this.  For the most part gasoline prices correlate to crude oil prices, which makes sense since crude oil is the raw material for making gas.  Each $20/bbl in crude oil price results in about $1/gal in gasoline price in CA.  Crude oil is currently about $120/bbl and that is why gas is about $6/gal.  So who determines crude oil prices?  Commodity traders.  Not oil companies.  Supply and demand come into play with regard to the contracts the traders sell but like any FUTURES contract it has more to do with the PERCEIVED situation in the future than the real one today.  Anyway all the things you all talk about play SOME role in gas prices BUT no one item is the sole cause of the current situation.

And your point of reposting this useless tidbit?
Fact is production is slowed down causing the issues at hand.
Why was it slowed down?
Well, look at ChinaBidens actions in his 1st week of office...
ChinaBiden directly caused are issues at hand..

dogwalker

umm no...production is ONE of many issues.  Bando, it seems you need to read ALL my posts again including the "useless" one above....very carefully.....lol.  So the war in Ukraine has NO role in increased gas prices?  Russia is a major crude oil producer so guess what..... if there is risk to that supply being cut off then prices will increase.   More production in the US can solve it but that is not happening overnight.  duh.  The other thing is even with more US production there is not enough pipe to transport it.  Blame that on who you want, but that is another of MANY issues.
My point of reposting useless crap is "some people" just want to get on their tunnel vision, simplistic points of view that they are convinced are 10000% correct so they can slam who they hate while ignoring that life might be a bit more complicated than they think.....but they don't really think that well so some things need repeating until they get it....if they ever do.  Or should I just give up?  LOL

Bande said it was NOT public knowledge. That nuclear waste has been public knowledge since the 60s so he must be referring to something else
