It all goes back to Roswell, yo.
The aliens are teaching the Democrats their advanced technology.
It's because Truman (a Democrat) was President in 1947.

Type of crap

It's funny you say that because while that particular clip didn't show it, Trump went on to say that when he first heard that boys were being turned into girls without parental consent, he assumed it was an exaggeration, but later learned that, no, it's happening.

But you think he's saying things for effect, taking out the nuance so the point is sharper. Fair enough in this case because, hey, he's not talking about using the military against his political opponents.

What he is doing, though, is tapping into people's fears of transgenderism. He knows those fears are based in ignorance. It's the same as stoking the fears of immigrants and the rest of the "others." It's all designed to ignite anger toward each other. Hate is all he's got.

Danno

Trump wrote the DOJ transgender care manual in 2018 for prison inmates to receive gender affirming surgery and care. Every Trump accusation is a confession.
Kamala didn't back gender surgeries, state was sued and lost. She only supported that everyone in prison get health care.
Just tap me on the head if I overstay my welcome

I agree.

I also Blame the media.  The problem with today's media is it making reporting agencies (CNN, Fox, NBC...ect) are all owned by the political parties and are blow hards for their party.  If the media would actually report on the news instead of pushing their political agenda we could hold politicians accountable.

The news died when Walter Cronkite died.

The news died when Walter Cronkite died.

Conkite signed off March 6, 1981.

The news actually started to die because of Reagan. There used to be something called "The Fairness Doctrine" which Reagan repealed in 1987.

The fairness doctrine of the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC), introduced in 1949, was a policy that required the holders of broadcast licenses both to present controversial issues of public importance and to do so in a manner that fairly reflected differing viewpoints. The Fairness Doctrine simply prohibited stations from broadcasting from a single perspective, day after day, without presenting opposing views.

Under Reagan, it was gotten rid of, and when Congress tried to bring it back he vetoed it (and later, GW Bush did as well)

Ever since it was removed, organizations like Fox News haven't had to either present an equal view, but concentrated on only one viewpoint to the exclusion of others.

The 1987 repeal of the fairness doctrine enabled the rise of talk radio that has been described as "unfiltered", divisive and/or vicious: "In 1988, a savvy former ABC Radio executive named Ed McLaughlin signed Rush Limbaugh.

According to The Washington Post, "From his earliest days on the air, Limbaugh trafficked in conspiracy theories, divisiveness, even viciousness", e.g., "feminazis". Prior to 1987 people using much less controversial verbiage had been taken off the air as obvious violations of the fairness doctrine

Congress forgot to say during the informational news hour NO PAID ADVERTISING would be allowed. News stations let the ratings influence how they report the news.
