Just about anyone can be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Being awarded one is a different story. Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize when he had been President for less than eight months. So, given y'all's disdain for Obama, why do you think the Nobel Peace Prize is all that great?

First, just because Trump won the election doesn't mean he gets to do whatever he wants, even if he promised certain things. He occupies the office of the president, not a throne, and that office is subject to rules and laws.

Second, since when is popular opinion the test of whether something is true or false, right or wrong? We have to accept the election results, but that doesn't mean we have to relinquish our grip on reality.

And, as has been pointed out previously, it's pretty fucking ironic that the only reason we've had a peaceful transfer of power is that Trump won. Because we know from experience and from Trump's own words that, had he lost the 2024 election, that POS would have claimed it was rigged all over again.

We had a candidate known for criminal conduct and fraud.  Convicted of felonies. Known to be a liar. Twice impeached! The public was well aware of Trump the media made sure of that.  Now you can down play Trump's reelection all you want. Voters did not like the direction our country was going and did not want another weak president so Trump was given a second chance and pardon by the majority of the vote. Trump is doing what he said he would do.  Illegal immigration was a big issue and Trump has the border back under control.  Trump is deporting hundreds of criminal illegals everyday.  Trump through Elon Musk is finding billions of dollars in fraud and waste and will put a stop to it.  Finally Trump is working with Putin and Zelensky to end the war and stop the killing. Democrats had no plan to control the border.  They had no plan to end the Ukraine war.  All they are doing now is spending money to fight Trump but are losing.
