Blocking our border really won't stop illegals from crossing.  The United States needs to first go into Mexico and take out, and destroy all the drug cartels. Next identify and declare corrupt officials as enemies and terrorist who have allowed cartels to operate and imprison them.  We need to take over Mexico and punish all those who break the law.  Then we move south to the next country and so on.  We give back opportunity and freedom to the good citizens of those countries.  We have the most powerful military in the world what's the point of being number one if we allow other countries to poison us?  The US can make it where people thrive and do well in their country and not want to come here. We just need to stop trying to control our border by helping people reclaim their home country.

Previous administrations have attempted to manage immigration within budgetary and legal constraints. Trump promises to act as if he has no constraints.

I think the best thing that happened to the US, WAS that Biden/Harris, and the MIRACULOUS 15 million votes that existed on election night, but have never been seen again, took office.  It only took about three years for the normal American population to see what a total shit show those Idiots, and all their DEI appointments, caused for our country.  I certainly hope that Trump/Vance is able to complete more of his agenda with the clear mandate they were given by the normal American people.

Isn't that invading another country because you don't believe in their sovereignty basically doing what Russia is doing to Ukraine, we can see how well that has turned out and how well the rest of the world is responding. And with that thinking, what would stop Russia from invading us for some bullshit reason? And why would any other country give a damn after we just showed them we don't give a damn about THEIR borders either?

For part of his term, Trump had the majority in both sides of congress, so blaming anyone other than him for his not passing things is disingenuous. By definition, his own party had to vote against him for him not to do things. Trump wasn't a strong enough leader to get his people in line for what he said EVERYBODY wanted. He couldn't get enough support for something that he says was destroying the country. Kinda a classic example of a poor leader huh?
