The crowd size at the January 6th rally was at least 10,000. There were not 10,000 insurrectionist storming the Capitol. True Republicans condemned the violence.

The overwhelming summer protesters were peaceful. Those burning and engaged in violence were in the minority. Democratic leaders condoned the protest, but condemned the violence.

There you go putting your words in other mouths, making shit up.  Trump was President but it was Democrats who did nothing to stop the riots and sat on their ass... Trump really has no authority over civil unrest except to order Marshall Law to be imposed. It was up to the Governors of each state to call out the national guard to stop rioting and put down civil unrest, not Trump.

Right and Democrats don't do the same!  I watched the entire day... they showed me nothing I had not already seen. I didn't need anyone's opinion as to what happened that day on Jan 6th. This isn't about Jan 6 or Trump. There were high hopes for Biden but sadly those hopes are evaporating as inflation and the border remain out of control! With sinking approval ratings, the majority of voters blame Biden for what is happening now. Biden's big plan is to tax the wealthy more and make them pay minimum tax. Everyone knows what happens when you raise tax on the rich, they cut back production and lay off workers to compensate.

Back in the good old days, when we didn't need to Make America Great Again, marginal tax rates on the rich were as high as 90 percent.

What about workers? Right now consumer inflation is 8.3% and wholesale price index inflation is 11% a gap of 2.7%. In addition... The cost of diesel fuel has doubled in the last 6 months.  Cost $1,100 dollars now to fill a big rig up to transport 54,000 pounds max weight to its destination.  That cost has to be tacked on to the selling price we pay. The stock market is in a death spiral going down down down wiping out people's investments. All gains since Jan 1 is gone. Just how bad do things have to get before Biden lovers will say, uncle? Biden cites low unemployment numbers as his doing.... like those that were laid off during covid went to another country to work! Amazing how administrations manipulate the numbers. Come November voters are not going to want to hear excuses as to why they don't have any money in their wallets or purses they will blame Biden and Democrats for it. So for at least 2 more years, Congress will be in control by Republicans and the US Supreme Court will be right-leaning. I bet this thought really sticks in the craw of Democrats and Socialists. Will there be gridlock? Probably, at least Biden won't be able to do more damage except by EO which Congress could challenge in SC. And no Republicans are not going to raise taxes on the middle class or cut SSI, which has already been denounced by Republican leaders. Biden uses this to scare people about a draft by Scott, Biden had not gotten the memo yet.

"Fair share" taxing might contribute to reducing the deficit. Trump Republicans never cared about reducing the deficit. Reducing the deficit might contribute to reducing a factor of inflation over time.
