And it's frustrating because it was only yesterday that he retold his story about the old lady who went to the grocery store to buy three apples. Sadly, when she got to the cashier and was told how much they cost, she realized she could afford only two apples. At that moment, according to Trump, the old lady excused herself to return one of the apples to the refrigerator.

It's no surprise that so many Americans voted for Trump. He is a genuine man of the people who knows that grocery stores in America keep apples in refrigerators.

Quote from: bligslick on Dec 13, 2024, 03:15 AMThanks for your view. I see his presidency as a chance for positive change, focusing on his past achievements. Critics worry about his approach to the Constitution, but I'm optimistic. Time will show how it goes.  May you get what you claim so you can ride on your white horse of wisdom. Meanwhile, the countdown continues....
What achievements would those be? Massive tax cuts for the uber-wealthy that ballooned the national debt by 1-2 trillion dollars? Threatening decades-old alliances with our partners in Europe? Stealing classified documents and keeping them in his bathroom?

Also, on the Constitution, Trump doesn't have an "approach." The only things he knows about that document are that there's some stuff in there that gives him a lot of power, and there's something about guns. If you asked him whether he prefers the original version or the version that includes the Bill of Rights, he'd tell you that he loves both--he hasn't a clue that there's any difference.

Finally, I am not an equestrian, but I'd choose a dark horse if I were.

they already laughed at him, Trump, in Paris the other day

No they didn't, they were kissing his ass because
they know he will be in charge for the next four years.

Why didn't Old Joe go to France?
I saw his wife sitting next to Trump.
Are we having fun yet?

Danno

funny that when he waved to the other world leaders arriving at ND, they turned away from him.

When asked by a reporter what Google was, Old Joe said:
"Come on man, that's the sound a turkey makes."

I think you may not have a clue either.  In 1777 the first constitution no bill of rights was adopted known as articles of confederation till 1788!

I'm aware. I was referring to the documents that have governed us since 1789.

Doesnt matter if Trump knows the constution or not the US Supreme Court ruled Trump can do as he wants nothing will be done to him. The Senate wont  vote him out. I wonder just how rich he will make himself and his rich friends.

There's a reason he has named so many billionaires as his cabinet picks and advisors. Musk, in particular, seems keen to join Trump in raiding the coffers and wrecking democracy. It's sickening.

Now if it was Bill Gates he might work to improve the lives of citizens.  But Trump?  If I was betting my bet would be Trump is only for Trump and uses people.  I really do hope Im wrong.  Trump craves the power to feed his ego.  The question is will we survive Trump?

If you made $500,000 a year, it would take you 200 years to earn 100 million dollars. Link
